Dr. Georgia Persons is a Professor in the School of Public Policy. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This policy applies to all Georgia Tech faculty and staff members. Definitions: PD/PI Project Director/Principal Investigator, individual responsible for the overall design, conduct and reporting of the research or other externally funded sponsored activity.

This Faculty Handbook sets out the principles, policies, and procedures relevant to the functions of the Faculty of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and also includes provisions for the academic life of Students of the Institute.
